Impressive Magritte

This eye-catching original oil painting draws attention and a positive reaction from everyone who sees it. It is exquisitely framed under glass in a museum-quality frame. There is an important certificate verso identifying it as being in the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Block. The Blocks were major collectors in the 1960s and 1970s and founded and endowed Northwestern University’s Block Museum of Art. This is believed to be one of the pieces they sold to fund the museum.
