Exquisite Toulouse-Lautrec Oils (2)

Two impressive signed Toulouse-Lautrec oils on canvas from the collection of Mary and Leigh Block. One is on canvas over wood and one is canvas on a stretcher. Each has a significant Block Collection certificate verso. There is a Chenue shipping certificate verso on each piece identifying it as a Toulouse-Lautrec. They are believed to have been repatriated from Venezuela and are available individually or at a discount if multiple pieces are acquired from the selling estate’s collection. An investor is willing to take a minority ownership position, with the buyer having full possession, if the buyer will agree to have them forensically analyzed and sold by Sotheby’s when Sotheby’s begins accepting forensics evidence as proof of authenticity in lieu of a complete provenance.
